Not enough privacy and attention to basic detail, but such a beautiful, modern feel and views. Positive: Nice spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful view, modern and comfortable. Enough milk and coffee pots for the coffee machine. Negative: Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The interlinking door between the rooms offered no privacy at all — we could hear every single sound from next door. The guests beside us had their TV on all night and repeatedly woke us up with loud sexual activity every few hours. It was extremely uncomfortable and completely ruined what was meant to be a romantic weekend. On top of that, the hand towel provided had a hole in it, and the only soap available was a liquid soap with a terrible smell, forcing us to buy our own. There were also no tea / dish towels in the kitchen. It’s a real pity, because the property itself isn’t bad, but the lack of soundproofing and attention to basic details made our stay unpleasant.

Peaceful Haven Positive: This is a hidden gem. Just a short drive from Stellenbosch town and yet it feels like you are in th4 mountains once you are inside the estate and in your unit. Its very private, the amenities are high quality and it felt like a peaceful retreat surrounded my forest and mountain. Everything we needed was in the unit. Comfortable bed and an incredible bathroom that gets so much sunlight. The host Johan was spectacular, responding immediately and also checking up on us during our stay. We'll be back!

Worth the views and for sleeping, but not the most relaxing space to be in the entire day. Positive: I thoroughly enjoyed the space, the bathroom is very relaxing after a busy day, and feels like a shower in nature. The bed is extremely comfortable and there were no plumbing or electrical issues during my stay. The host was very professional and attentive, and I had no issues with check-in/check-out process. I got there and the staff helped with my bags which was also welcomed. Negative: The kitchen is extremely tiny, and it makes it impossible almost to cook a meal. There is a one plate convention stove thingy which is just awful to cook with and it takes up the entire space, so you have nowhere to even prepare other parts of the meal if you decide to cook. The walls are indeed paper thin, you can hear the neighbours sneezing, and so I had to be overly aware of my own volume noise, and I mean when you on holiday you dont want to be in your head about whether you may be inconveniencing the neighbours, just because you want to watch a movie or series.

it was our 40th Wedding anniversary so this was dissappointing Positive: The room was neat and very nice view. Negative: The Bathroom door knob was broken - my husband was stuck inside the bathroom and I had to open from my side. There were pots and pans but no appliance to cook on. When we enquired regarding an Air fryer the cleaning lady said that this unit does not have one.
